Who we are
We develop Recovery Cat from within the clinic.
We are an interdisciplinary team of psychiatrists, clinical psychologists, techies, and designers from Berlin, originating from Charité (Clinic for Psychiatry and Psychotherapy). Our mission is to enable people with severe mental illnesses to lead self-determined lives through digital support in outpatient psychiatric care.

Jakob is a psychiatrist, psychotherapist, and scientist specializing in psychoses. His long-standing work with patients at Charité drives him towards the transition to digitally supported, patient-centered, collaborative care.

Toni is a neuroscientist, psychologist, and regulation expert. He is particularly interested in translating clinical and applied research into user-friendly products. In addition to market access strategies, he is responsible for medical device surveillance, quality management, and usability.

Elisabeth is a neuroscientist and data analyst who transitioned into product management. Her deep understanding of both science and technology gives her the best prerequisites to communicate between different teams.

Carlos is an experienced software developer with expertise in developing and implementing sophisticated information systems, including software architecture, database design, and agile methods. He significantly consolidates and further develops our products.

Hanhoan studied philosophy, then worked in online marketing, as a yoga and qigong teacher, and transitioned from there into web development. He is responsible for Recovery Cat’s frontend.
